ELECTRIC POWER is pleased to announce that the CEO of Dynegy, Robert Flexon, will join our Executive Roundtable Panel. Continuing its tradition of attracting industry thought-leaders, the session will offer a discussion of topics that focus on the fundamental changes in the power sector and will be moderated by John Shelk, President and CEO of the Electric Power Supply Association. This must-attend session is open to all registered attendees of ELECTRIC POWER.<\/p>\n

Since 2011, Flexon has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dynegy Inc. Prior to joining Dynegy, Flexon served as the Chief Financial Officer of UGI Corporation, a distributor and marketer of energy products and services. In 2009, he served as President and CEO of Foster Wheeler’s U.S. subsidiary and then Chief Executive Officer of Foster Wheeler, a global engineering and construction contractor and power equipment supplier. Flexon served five years at NRG Energy, Inc. in various executive level positions including Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Flexon also has held key finance and accounting positions with Hercules, Inc. and Atlantic Richfield Company.<\/p>\n

A certified public accountant, Flexon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University and serves on the Board of Neighborhood Centers, the largest not-for-profit in Texas.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
