Annually, two industry groups host meetings for the purpose of conducting business, sharing information and ideas, networking and industry advancement. One group is the EEI Loss Control/Fire Protection Task Force and the other is the PRB Coal Users’ Group which is co-located with the ELECTRIC POWER Conference and Exhibition. In today’s business environment, many utilities are restricting the number of events and travel of its employees whereas those who support utilities struggle with the costs associated with face-to-face time with these utilities. We are glad to offer again this year the opportunity to attend both meetings at the same venue so that everyone can capitalize on quality yet preserve their individual mission and goals.
Sunday afternoon: EEI Loss Control/Fire Protection Task Force will have Executive Committee meeting and a Utility-only roundtable.
Sunday evening: Reception for all EEI Loss Control/Fire Protection Task Force Members.
Monday: EEI Loss Control/Fire Protection Task Force will have a full day meeting (see program link below).
Monday evening: EEI Loss Control/Fire Protection Task Force joins together with the PRB Coal Users’ Group for the reception and awards banquet including dinner and a humorous speaker.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Attendees may choose from a selection of opportunities including the PRB Coal Users’ Group annual meeting/conference, the ELECTRIC POWER Conference and its many tracks such as the new Emergency Response track, and/or exhibition.
Tuesday and Wednesday evenings: Reception (on exhibit floor) will be held.
Thursday morning: You can participate in the GENCO only discussion.

Registration cost varies based on the basis that some utilities secure a group plan that either sets a defined number of its employees (i.e. five employees) or has unlimited plan (as many as they wish) for a set reduced price.
