Executives Commit to Annual Trends Discussion at ELECTRIC POWER

Senior executives from across the electric power generation sector have committed to taking part in the much-anticipated annual round table discussion of current industry trends. The session takes place on Wednesday, April 2, from 8:30 am – 10:00 am in Great Hall B of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Executives taking part  this year include Bill Mohl, President, Wholesale Commodities, Entergy Corporation; Doyle Beneby, Presdent and CEO, CPS Energy; James R. "Bob" Dalrymple, Senior Vice President, Coal & Operations, Tennessee Valley Authority; and John Ragan, President, NRG Energy Gulf Coast Region and Executive Vice President, NRG South Texas LLP. Thomas Kiernan, CEO of the American Wind Energy Association, has been invited but has not yet confirmed.

Topics likely to be addressed include existing and pending environmental control rules, the impact of unconventional natural gas resources on power generation, the competitive prospects for nuclear power, and challenges faced by utilities as distributed generating resources gain a foothold.

The annual executive round table has long been a must-attend event at ELECTRIC POWER, and has attracted many of the industry's thought-leaders. This year's session promises to continue that tradition of excellence and is open to all registered attendees at ELECTRIC POWER.
