Local COVID-19 Information<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Like all US destinations, Pennsylvania is continually monitoring the COVID-19 situation. As of this time, there are no travel restrictions or mask mandates issued for the city of Pittsburgh. However, masks are strongly encouraged regardless of vaccination status while not eating or drinking and required while utilizing public transportation. The CLEAN WATERWAYS staff is required to be both vaccinated and masked for the duration of the event. Our supporting partners, including the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Westin Pittsburgh and Stetson Convention Services will also be required to wear masks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hotels, attractions and restaurants remain open for business. However, some local restaurants may require proof of vaccination status so we suggest that you research before making a reservation. We also encourage attendees to seek information through credible resources, including at the national level with the CDC; internationally through the World Health Organization; and at the state and local level. Covid-19 Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please visit the Allegheny County Health Department\u2019s COVID-19 Resource Page<\/a> to find links to mobile testing locations as well as a map with stationary testing sites around the Allegheny County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with TACKL Health, the Pittsburgh International Airport<\/a> is offering COVID-19 testing for public health and peace of mind. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and rapid tests will be administered in TACKL Health\u2019s clinics at both the landside terminal\u2019s second level across from the information desk and in Concourse A across from gate A2 for ticketed passengers only on the day of their travel. A 700-space parking garage is located in the DLCC (10th & Penn Ave.) which is managed by Alco Parking Corporation<\/a>. Transportatio<\/strong>n <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Downtown Pittsburgh is a compact 50-acre area bordered by Grant Street to the east, Penn Avenue to the north and the Boulevard of the Allies to the south. You’re never more than a few blocks to your destination, and downtown is easy to walk. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uber<\/a> and Lyft<\/a> are popular options for an affordable ride in minutes. Both rideshares are available throughout the city, as well as the Pittsburgh International Airport. Just be sure to download the apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All major hotels in\nthe Downtown area have taxis waiting outside their front doors. In other areas\nof the city, look for “taxi stands.” You can also call for a cab by\ndialing 412-777-7777 for zTrip taxi services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Port Authority of Allegheny County<\/a> is the public transit agency for the greater Pittsburgh area, providing bus, light rail, incline and paratransit service to about 230,000 riders daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can transfer between the 28X (from the\u00a0Pittsburgh International Airport<\/a>) and most other Port Authority bus or “T” routes in downtown Pittsburgh.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
